Irish Dance

DAPA is unique as the only school in this area that offers Irish Dance training! This style of dance is so popular!! The thrill of teamwork and the joy and exhilaration of learning exciting steps and dances! Classes are geared towards public performances and annual exams. DAPA Principal, Sarah Dean danced at Championship level which puts DAPA in the unique position of being able to teach Traditional Irish Dancing as well as the more modern “Riverdance” style.

Both soft shoe and heavy shoe techniques are taught, and children not only love the dancing but also the wonderful Irish music!
