Alice Keenan

Alice is thrilled to be a guest teacher at DAPA! She has been dancing since the age of 4 and joined DAPA at the age of 11. Alice trained at DAPA for 7 years, training on their Vocational Course in Irish, Tap, Ballet, Modern, Body Conditioning, Jazz, Cheer, Musical Theatre, Singing and Street Dance.

She also was a teaching assistant at DAPA for her last 2 years of training here! Alice went on to train for 3 years professionally at Mandy Ellen Performing Arts College in Maidstone, Kent. Before graduating in 2018; Alice was successful in getting an agent and is still a part of the same agency now (Lizanne Crowther Management Ltd.). Alice has been on a UK tour (Movie Nights) as a backing vocalist for Keith Jack (Any Dream Will Do (Series) and Fame (UK Tour and West End), she featured in a UK tour of 3 separate musicals – Cilla and the Shades of the 60s (Cillaette and swing), Dusty and the Shades of the 60s (backing dancer and swing) and Wannabe: The Spice Girls Show (Baby Spice), Alice has also been part of a cast workshopping a new musical – Fiver – before it took to the West End. Alice has also found a new passion and has extended her training into aerial skills inc. silks, hoop/Lyra , Spanish web and aerial hammock and has been doing so since 2018. Alice is so happy to be joining the DAPA teaching staff in 2020 and hopes that the students thoroughly enjoy learning from her!
